These delicate and beautiful clusters of a-grade quartz are tinted pink by lithium and sprinkled with green fuchsite mica. Lithium is rich in these parts of Colombia and produce a variety of other lithium-ore minerals including lepidolite mica.

Quartz is colourless in its purest state and owes it's many coloured varieties to defects within the crystal lattice, inclusions and trace elements.
