This rare formation from the Sahara Desert assists in anchoring in higher vibrations into your being and grounding you in a new space for transformation. A great stone to be your companion through times of change.

Trusting the process can be hard when everything that is new feels uncomfortable - prophecy stone helps to provide capacity for these shifts internally and externally.

Prophecy stone is a Pyrite/Marcasite to Limonite pseudomorph - meaning it has transformed from one mineral to another over time. 

Throughout this process the shape and form of the iron sulphide mineral (either pyrite or marcasite) has been retained, with the atomic structure shifting only internally. What was once a golden/brass coloured metallic, brittle stone is now an iron oxide mineral.

Crystal system: Monoclinic or cubic.

Ethical mining/sourcing refers to the conditions in which a crystal is unearthed and the people and/or businesses that do it. Whilst a mineral may be sourced ethically from the earth, many stones are sent to factories in other countries for cutting and polishing into spheres and generators. 

The label of ethics also applies to the selling and consumer purchasing. 

Crystals must be correctly identified, certified as natural with any treatments disclosed. Too often crystals are lab grown or treated in a lab and sold as natural. This is incredibly important to us (and our in-house gemmologist) so each piece is tested and certified and accompanied by and authenticity card.
