Crystals are powerful tools often incorporated into rituals for their energetic and symbolic properties. 

A crystal’s atomic structure provides a steady vibrational quality and their amplitude can be increased through heat and/or pressure in certain minerals. These pyroelectric and piezoelectric properties are well known in various industries. Quartz and tourmaline have long been used for their energetic abilities in products from hair dryers to clocks and even the basic BBQ lighter - crystals are incredible energetic tools. Their subtle, and not-so-subtle, frequencies can interact with the body’s own electrical field to stabilise, ground and uplift our energy. Garnets are a group of silicate minerals with species ranging in colour from red, green and even colour change varieties.

Almandine garnet is the most common mineral variety and is prized for it's rich crimson hue. Often very dark or brownish, finding vivid red crystals are the most desirable. 

Belonging to the cubic crystal system, these stones form in dodecahedrons, trapezohedrons and combinations of the two.

Although crystals have survived hundreds of thousands to millions of years (wow) in our earth they are still delicate and must be treated with TLC.
