SCIENCE
Danburite is a calcium boron silicate mineral and is colourless in its purest state but can occur in yellow, yellowish brown and pink. This stone has a high dispersion and facets beautifully. Stones have parallel striations to the c-axis and similar in shape to topaz. The absence of basal cleavage separates the two.
