Step into the world of essential oils through a grounded, hands-on weekend designed for emotional wellbeing and ritual. Across two in-person days, you’ll work directly with a curated range of pure essential oils to learn how they behave, how they’re grouped, and how to blend with confidence.
This course is for you if you’ve ever wanted to move beyond “this smells nice” and into a deeper understanding of aroma as a tool for emotional connection, support, and release. You’ll leave with practical skills you can use immediately, plus two personalised blends you’ve created yourself.
What you’ll learn
Over the weekend you’ll gain a clear, practical understanding of:

Essential oil foundations: what they are, how they’re extracted, and what quality looks like

Scent families + categories: top/middle/base notes, aroma profiles, and how oils are commonly grouped

Blending basics: how to create a balanced blend that feels cohesive, not muddled

Emotional application: choosing oils intentionally for grounding, calm, clarity, uplift, comfort, and release

Ritual + personal practice: how to work with aroma in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable at home
(This course focuses on emotional wellbeing for ritual and personal support, not the treatment of physical ailments.)

This course is taught by Julie Weybury, Uluna’s aromatherapist of 8 years and an expert blender. Julie brings deep knowledge, a beautiful intuitive approach, and clear practical teaching so you can understand the “why” behind what you’re creating, not just follow a recipe.
