HEALING
Turritella Fossil in Selenite holds the vibration of deep grounding through remembrance. Its fossilised shells connect you to ancestral wisdom, helping dissolve emotional stagnation while offering a sense of belonging and continuity. The selenite replacement infuses the fossil’s density with ethereal energy, creating a bridge between Earth and Spirit. Together they harmonise past and present, anchoring you in calm awareness while gently cleansing old patterns.
Spiritually, this stone invites you to slow down and listen to the steady rhythm beneath life’s chaos. It nurtures patience and acceptance, especially during personal transformation—teaching that every layer of your journey adds to your strength. In meditation or ritual, it brings peace to the heart and steadiness to the nervous system, clearing energetic debris and restoring a soft, luminous serenity.
SCIENCE
Turritella is not a single mineral but a fossiliferous chalcedony or limestone composed of spiral-shelled freshwater snails (genus Elimia, once misidentified as marine Turritella). Over millions of years, the original organic material and sediment were replaced by silica, creating intricate shell imprints in stone. In this rare variety, the silica replacement occurred through selenite (a crystalline form of gypsum), producing subtle translucence and a soft pearlescent glow.
This process, known as pseudomorphism, preserves the fossil’s shape while entirely transforming its composition—an exquisite natural metaphor for spiritual renewal. Found in sedimentary deposits shaped by ancient lakes and rivers, each piece captures a tangible record of prehistoric life turned to crystalline light.

SOURCING ETHICS & VALUES
At Uluna, we are deeply committed to offering crystals that are not only beautiful but also ethically sourced and of the highest quality. Ethical sourcing means ensuring that the crystals we provide are mined under fair conditions, respecting both the environment and the workers involved. We also recognise that many crystals undergo processes like cutting and polishing in factories far away from their mined locations, so we remain diligent about maintaining our integrity throughout the supply chain sourcing locally and directly where possible.
Our dedication to quality is upheld by our in-house gemmologist, who brings over 15 years of expertise to every piece we offer. Each crystal is carefully tested, correctly identified, and certified as natural, with any treatments fully disclosed. Unlike lab-grown or misrepresented stones often sold as natural, our crystals are authentic and come with an authenticity card, guaranteeing their provenance and purity so you can feel safe with each purchase. For us, ethics and quality are non-negotiable values.
