HEALING

The Megalodon Tooth carries an unmistakable alpha energy—a deep, primal frequency that awakens courage, confidence, and personal power. It connects you to the instinctual strength of Earth’s most formidable predator, reminding you that true dominance comes from calm authority and grounded self-assurance, not aggression.

This fossil is an anchor for those stepping into leadership or navigating moments that demand resilience. It helps stabilise fear, sharpen instinct, and strengthen your energetic boundaries. In meditation or ritual, it invites you to draw from ancient oceans of strength—to trust your own current, stand firm in your truth, and act with steady, decisive clarity. It is particularly supportive during transitions, challenges, or whenever bravery is required to move forward without hesitation.

SCIENCE

Megalodon teeth are the fossilised remains of Otodus megalodon, the largest predatory shark to have ever lived—dominating the world’s oceans roughly 3.6 to 23 million years ago during the Miocene and Pliocene epochs. These colossal sharks could reach lengths of up to 18 metres, with teeth spanning more than 15 centimetres long.

The fossilisation process replaced the original organic material of the tooth (dentine and enamel) with minerals such as silica, calcite, and occasionally iron compounds, preserving its serrated edges and distinctive triangular form. The resulting fossils range in colour from jet black to sand-hued or bluish grey, depending on the surrounding sediment and minerals during fossilisation.

Each tooth captures a moment in prehistoric marine history, offering insight into oceanic ecosystems long vanished. Found primarily in marine sediments and coastal deposits around the world—especially in regions like Florida, South Carolina, and Peru—these fossils are among the most studied and collected remnants of the ancient seas.

SOURCING ETHICS & VALUES

At Uluna, we are deeply committed to offering crystals that are not only beautiful but also ethically sourced and of the highest quality. Ethical sourcing means ensuring that the crystals we provide are mined under fair conditions, respecting both the environment and the workers involved. We also recognise that many crystals undergo processes like cutting and polishing in  factories far away from their mined locations, so we remain diligent about maintaining our integrity throughout the supply chain sourcing locally and directly where possible.

Our dedication to quality is upheld by our in-house gemmologist, who brings over 15 years of expertise to every piece we offer. Each crystal is carefully tested, correctly identified, and certified as natural, with any treatments fully disclosed. Unlike lab-grown or misrepresented stones often sold as natural, our crystals are authentic and come with an authenticity card, guaranteeing their provenance and purity so you can feel safe with each purchase. For us, ethics and quality are non-negotiable values.
