Faden quartz is a facilitator of this connection and can assist in focussing your mind and energy to the vibration of your highest self. As we seek to visualise our path or destination, this connection will serve you with clarity and understanding by bringing a greater strength to your intuition. 

Faden Quartz is named after the german word for yarn/thread as the crystals will often have a white opaque looking thread running through them. This is comprised of gas bubbles and self-healed fractures and is due to the disruption of growth and repetitive breaking and healing that the crystal has gone through. These crystals are tabular in shape (flattened) and show a fine clarity at the terminated ends compared to the faden line or centre.

These crystals formed in a small crack or fissure in another host rock and as the earth shifted and the crystals split with the shift, they continued to heal with a flow of high silica solution. These crystals have a story, they have a past and they have had to meet adversity time and time again, for ions. Their past makes them beautiful, unique and valued. 

Clear Quartz is a master healer and a high vibrational stone, being used for their electrical properties across all different applications from power clocks to a bbq lighter. Their vibration connects to our and can lift us up into a higher state of joy, love and optimism. Some small contact twin crystals are delicate and prone to chipping. Keep wrapped in a soft cloth inside a box for travelling.

Ethical mining/sourcing refers to the conditions in which a crystal is unearthed and the people and/or businesses that do it. Whilst a mineral may be sourced ethically from the earth, many stones are sent to factories in other countries for cutting and polishing into spheres and generators. 

The label of ethics also applies to the selling and consumer purchasing. 

Crystals must be correctly identified, certified as natural with any treatments disclosed. Too often crystals are lab grown or treated in a lab and sold as natural. This is incredibly important to us (and our in-house gemmologist) so each piece is tested and certified and accompanied by and authenticity card.
