Huckitia meteorite is an incredibly ancient body of an asteroid, forming at the mantle-core, that began its life along with our planet earth and the galaxy it resides in. The ancient wisdom and high frequency of this grounding and protective stone is perfect for those seeking a profoundly deep energetic shift in the comforting arms of universal energies.

SCIENCE + INFO

The Alice Springs meteorite was then paired with the main mass and considered a transported fragment. Today the location of the site where the main mass was found is on Arapunya Cattle Station, which had been part of Huckitia Cattle Station but was excised from it after the meteorite had been recovered.

This pallasite is severely weathered: almost all of the metal is highly oxidized and transformed, and the olivine crystals are often altered.

Stony-iron meteorites are just that, of roughly equal proportions of nickel-iron and stony material and are the least abundant of all meteorites. In the case of pallasites that stony material is olivine, or what gemologists refer to as peridot.

Their high density and internal crystalline pattern names the Widmanstätten pattern are what identifies them from other terrestrial iron-ore mineral materials.

CRYSTAL CARE

Although meteorites have survived  millions of years hurtling through space before colliding with earth in a cataclysmic event, they're still in need of some TLC.

MOH's hardness: 4-5
Cleaning: Keep dry, avoid water. Use a soft cotton cloth to wipe surfaces.

OUR ETHICS

Yes, our crystals are ethically sourced & sold.

Read more:
Ethical mining/sourcing refers to the conditions in which a crystal is unearthed and the people and/or businesses that do it. Whilst a mineral may be sourced ethically from the earth, many stones are sent to factories in other countries for cutting and polishing into spheres and generators.

The label of ethics also applies to the selling and consumer purchasing.

Crystals must be correctly identified, certified as natural with any treatments disclosed. Too often crystals are lab grown or treated in a lab and sold as natural. This is incredibly important to us (and our in-house gemmologist) so each piece is tested and certified and accompanied by and authenticity card.

We pride ourselves on our crystal ethics, from earth to home.
