HEALING
Angelsite carries a distinctly cleansing and soothing energy, almost like a breath of fresh air moving through the emotional body. Its pale, angelic colours and delicate crystalline structure encourage emotional release, particularly when you’ve been carrying other people’s burdens, over-giving, or absorbing tension from your environment. Holding this mineral helps soften harsh edges, calm frayed nerves, and create a sense of lightness around the heart and solar plexus. It supports you in recognising what energy is yours and what belongs to others, helping you detach from emotional noise with compassion rather than overwhelm.
On a deeper spiritual level, Angelsite strengthens intuitive clarity and the subtle awareness that arises only when the inner landscape is quiet and receptive. It’s beautiful for meditation, breathwork, restorative rituals, or any practice where you’re reconnecting to your own centre after periods of stress, confusion, or emotional intensity. The Broken Hill locality adds an extra grounding quality — a reminder that clarity doesn’t float above life, but integrates into the body, the decisions you make, and the way you show up each day. This stone supports you in returning to yourself: calm, clear, and energetically sovereign.
SCIENCE
Angelsite is a secondary lead sulphate mineral that typically forms in the oxidised zones of lead-rich deposits, such as those at Broken Hill. It develops when primary minerals like galena chemically weather, and the sulphate-rich fluids circulating through fractures begin to precipitate delicate sulphate crystals. These environmental conditions—oxygen exposure, slightly acidic waters, and the breakdown of sulphide minerals—favour the growth of pale, powder-soft coatings and clusters characteristic of Angelsite. Broken Hill’s long geological history of metamorphism and later oxidation provides a perfect environment for these minerals to develop in open pockets, seams, and cavities.
Structurally, Angelsite often forms fibrous, botryoidal, or crusted aggregates rather than large transparent crystals. Its softness and earthy pastel tones reflect its chemical nature as a delicate sulphate mineral rather than a harder silicate or oxide. Crystals may show prismatic or elongated habits, but more commonly appear as compact clusters with a silky or matte finish. Being a soft mineral, it is easily scratched and should be handled with care, kept dry, and stored away from harder stones. Each specimen reflects the broader geological story of Broken Hill — intense ancient heat and pressure followed by slow atmospheric transformation, producing minerals that read like the final, gentle notes in the area’s mineral sequence.

CRYSTAL CARE
Although crystals have survived hundreds of thousands to millions of years (wow) in our earth they are still delicate and must be treated with TLC.

SOURCING ETHICS & VALUES
At Uluna, we are deeply committed to offering crystals that are not only beautiful but also ethically sourced and of the highest quality. Ethical sourcing means ensuring that the crystals we provide are mined under fair conditions, respecting both the environment and the workers involved. We also recognise that many crystals undergo processes like cutting and polishing in factories far away from their mined locations, so we remain diligent about maintaining our integrity throughout the supply chain sourcing locally and directly where possible.
Our dedication to quality is upheld by our in-house gemmologist, who brings over 15 years of expertise to every piece we offer. Each crystal is carefully tested, correctly identified, and certified as natural, with any treatments fully disclosed. Unlike lab-grown or misrepresented stones often sold as natural, our crystals are authentic and come with an authenticity card, guaranteeing their provenance and purity so you can feel safe with each purchase. For us, ethics and quality are non-negotiable values.
