“One day at a time” & “La Vita e Bella”
These are my two all time favorite quotes. As you can see I have struggled with worrying all the time. On my 18th Birthday I got both of these quotes as a reminder to slow down and not take life for granted.
“One day at a time” focused on the what if’s and what could've, “La vita e bella” which translates to life is beautiful, focused on the positives in a negative, reminding myself that everything happens for a reason, it's only a bad day and not a day life. Struggling with mental health problems I found these two quotes to get me through my tough days, they would bring me back into the present and calm me down.

It may sound tacky to some, but to me my mother inspires me. She has been, all my life, regardless of our situations she has always been there for us kids.
Being a single mother of two was tough, money has always been tight but we never went without, we would sometimes have to wait until Christmas or our Birthday but it just meant it was extra special to us, we appreciated what we got so much more. My mum has always had a smile on her face even in her darkest moments, she's always put us kids first and I love her and appreciate her so much for that. We may fight and have our ups and downs but at the end of the day we love each other and will always be there for one another. It is now my time to take care of her as she did for me when I was growing up.
I don't think single parents get enough praise for the things they do these days, and they deserve it, know if you are a single parent you are doing a kick ass job and it is okay to have a bad day or two!!

Currently I have taken on two different types of study, first being Crystal School here at Uluna, second I have decided to take on the role as Sports Trainer at a local football club.
I have decided to join Crystal School as I’ve had my own little obsession with crystals prior to starting work here. I wish to dive deeper into the knowledge and history behind all things involving crystals, fossils and the environment they are found in.
Then on the other hand being the complete opposite type of learning the reason I decided to become a Sports Trainer was to involve myself more in the community. I have always been someone to help others when needed and this makes me feel good about myself, it also gets me out of my comfort zone and active again since covid.

Going between watching “The Walking Dead” and “Game of Thrones” I felt I needed something more relaxing to watch at night when I’m trying to have an early one…..
So I have stumbled across a series on Binge called "Turquoise Fever".
I'm still only at the very start of this series but it's quite interesting already. Instead of bugging Stacey with questions I may have I’m learning from this series also which is great, the more information I can get the better!
I have recently started wearing a Black Tourmaline necklace & Evil Eye anklet, as I always seem to forget about crystals in my bra or I lose them. I felt this was the safest way to do so, I also feel naked with a necklace on, so perfect !
Black Tourmaline is great for cleansing your aura, getting rid of negative energies around you including your own!
Evil Eye has many different meanings depending on culture, beliefs and the different colours. I wear a dark blue with light blue evil eye, as it helps with general protection and it also helps to calm and relax me along with helping me communicate.

Currently I have started reading novels again (since leaving school). The novel I had been recommended was Sylvia Day, Bared to Me.
The goal I set for myself while reading was to read at least one chapter a night before going to sleep, just to wind down and settle my mind from thinking about a million things.
I have smashed that goal and have read the whole novel within a week. (woo go me!) Since completing the novel I have already ordered another six to then further challenge myself.
